Hello ! My name is Steve Clack and I have been teaching English for 5 years. Prior to this I had a successful career in IT and conducted hundreds of Business Skills Workshops. I was born in South Africa, grew up in the UK, spent a portion of my adult life in Australia and recently spent 5 years in Cambodia, so yes, I love to travel. I have been teaching English both online and in the classroom for 5 years and prior to this was running Business Skills Workshops. Skills like Negotiation skills, Conflict Management, Organisational skills, Creative Thinking, Emotional Intelligence and many more. I now work with adult students who work in English speaking companies and help them improve, not only their English communication skills but other skills related to their career to enable them to become more successful. My teaching style is very conversational. I blend communication with specific Business skills to help you improve. For example, have you ever felt frustrated in communicating and find that this tends to lead to a small conflict situation? I will help you to manage this conflict to a mutual agreeable resolution. Or maybe you get pushed around a bit in Negotiation situations due to communication issues, again I can work with you so you have the skills to successfully negotiate.

We finished Negotiation Skills of the Business English course. I feel more prepared and confident to make changes in my way of dealing in negotiations, and make positive changes to my organisation. I am reviewing how we could continue the Business English course because he has a comprehensive list of different subjects that can be covered.

For the last few weeks Steve has been preparing me for the Business English Certificate level Higher. He always noticed when I encountered a blockage and was able to switch immediately to a different approach. In my view, this is what separates a great teacher from a good teacher. He knew how to get me outside my comfort zone but was never too pushy.
