Well hello there! My name is Amir, and I love languages. That is why I have an interest in teaching languages. No matter what level of proficiency you represent, be it beginner, intermediate, advanced or outright proficient. We can always learn something new and expand our knowledge. As cliche as it may sound; aim for the moon, for even if you fail, you'll land amongst the stars. And remember, speaking to someone in their second language is speaking to their brain - but, speaking to them in their native language is speaking to their heart. Recently, I realized that I had an inclination to understand and connect with people of various backgrounds and cultures. And with the advent of the internet - what better way to do that than to meet people through teaching languages online! As your teacher, my core responsibilities are to help you improve your English and Malay conversational skills in terms of fluency, grammar, punctuation and spelling. My goal is to provide you with a comfortable and conducive learning environment whilst displaying equanimity and tolerance to provide you with satisfactory classes. I am also highly intuitive and receptive, so you'll never feel like you're talking to a wall! My classes are primarily catered to improving your English and Malay conversational skills, but I may accept classes focused on something else such as interview preparation. The lesson was really great. I am super glad that I’ve learned a lot of new things today. I love the way Amir speaks and explains the material. Moreover, I had a chance to learn a little bit about Malaysia 🇲🇾 and books on self-improvement. We had a good conversation and I enjoyed it a lot. What’s more, before the trial lesson Amir always responded to my questions and was truly supportive. During the lesson itself we talked about phrasal verbs and slang expressions (just what I had wanted). I got some assignments. I’m happy that Amir had prepared them for me. Can’t wait to see you next week! Thank you
