Eu me chamo Estevam, sou linguista (estudo principalmente a linguística histórica e a linguística românica), falo diversos idiomas e tenho formação acadêmica na área. Os idiomas são o meu trabalho e a minha paixão. My name is Estevam, I'm a linguist (I study mainly historical linguistics and Romance languages linguistics), I speak several languages and have academic training in this area. Languages are my job and my passion. Trabalho como professor de idiomas há mais de 6 anos e já ensinei diversas línguas, como português, galego, asturiano, espanhol, valenciano/catalão, occitano, francês, italiano, latim, grego e nheengatu. I've been working as a language teacher for over 6 years and I have taught several languages, like Portuguese, Galician, Asturian, Spanish, Valencian/Catalan, Occitan, French, Italian, Latin, Greek and Nheengatu. Minhas aulas sempre contam com uma análise do conhecimento e desenvolvimento do aluno. A partir disso, e dos interesses do estudante, direcionamos o conteúdo. O conteúdo sempre é útil e essencial no processo de aprendizado, com exercícios e explicações claras, pensadas de forma simples e objetiva, por mim, como linguista. My classes always have an analysis of the student's knowledge and development. Based on this, and on the interests of the student, we direct the content of the class, which is always useful and essential in the learning process, with exercises and clear explanations, prepared in a simple and objective way, by me, as a linguist.

It was excellent! We spoke in a little bit of each language that I speak. I was very surprised about that. We held a 7 minute conversation in Arabic. Estevam explained a lot of concepts from linguistics class to me in both Portuguese and English so that I could understand the concepts and how they apply in both languages. It was very interesting to see how these concepts apply when trying to understand them from different points of view.

He was helping me to understand some linguistics concepts that are very challenging for me. I really appreciate the fact that he gave examples of the concepts and vocabulary both in Portuguese and in English.
