I try to see myself as teacher and an artist, I have a strong background in education with over a decade of experience teaching people in many different forms: traditional classroom (French and Theatre classes in the US public Education System), yoga studios, artistic workshops, academia, and online. I bring all the skills I have honed in my life into my teaching to help my students succeed and to create interesting and dynamic lessons to help language learners interact with language in new and playful ways.

I have 5 years experience in teaching foreign languages for all levels on line and translated vast projects from English into French and Arabic and verse versa. I will supply students some methodological keys addressing their expectations, creating a positive learning environment, and finding a balance among modeling, explaining and practice. I love teaching which is one of the most important professionals in the world. I feel responsible for preparing future generations. I got a certification in Education (C.A.P) specialised in teaching languages, at the Autonomous University of Barcelona in 2007. I also got a certification in Teaching Spanish as a foreign language at Cálamo & Cran, Barcelona, in 2009. My experience in teaching in France, Spain and Ireland has allowed me to improve my language skills, as well as to increase my ability to adapt to new cultures and environments. I have been teaching at High Schools in France, as a language instructor for companies in Barcelona and Paris, and in private lessons during my years in these countries. I love teaching and am really interested in foreign cultures.

I am a native level French and English speaker, and an experienced French teacher as well as a Cambridge certified teacher of English as a foreign language. I've been teaching languages since 2012. I'm eager to share what I know with you and I'm sure I'll learn from you as well. One-to-one tutoring has always been my favourite: it allows me to focus on one student at a time, adapt to his or her own learning style and try to prepare materials with their own goals in mind. I try to boost my students' self-confidence and help them get passed their fear of expressing themselves in a foreign language.

Auparavant, j’ai donné des cours particuliers d’anglais à des collégiens en France pendant mes études. Cela fait longtemps que je voulais en donner de nouveau, mais je n’ai jamais pris le temps avec ma situation de backpacker. L’avantage des cours en ligne, c’est que l’on peut donner des cours de partout sans que mes voyages me stop. Je n’y avais pas vraiment pensé avant pour être honnête.

I teach all levels of French and English. My focus is building and improving upon conversational skills through regular conversation. My lessons are 30 minutes to an hour. The first lesson will be about establishing your current level of fluency and determining your goals as it relates to your conversational skills in the language of study.

My classes follow the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. I do my best to make them as fun and interactive as possible :) The most important for me is that my students can gain confidence in their speaking skills. My teaching approach is based on multimedia resources such as videos, songs, images and audio files. During our first interview, I will test your level to provide you with pedagogical materials adapted to your needs. I also work as a DELF test examiner. I taught as a French assistant in English schools for two years and I led linguistic trips for French teenagers in England every summer for 7 years, when I was a student. I am now a French tutor, a yoga teacher and a literary translator. I translate books from English into French.

J'exerce en tant que PLEG (Professeur de Lycée d'Enseignement Général ) depuis décembre 2014, date de l'obtention de mon diplôme à l'école normale de Bambili (Région Nord-Ouest - Cameroun). Je suis donc professeur de géologie formé. Ensuite, je travaille en tant que professeur de français temporaire dans les écoles anglaises et en tant que professeur d'anglais temporaire dans les écoles françaises depuis 2016 (date à laquelle j'ai obtenu mon diplôme de Master of Science).
