Mis alumnos dicen de mi que soy una profesora muy divertida. Preparo las clases individualmente adaptando los contenidos al estudiante para que este ofrezca lo mejor de él. Soy muy exigente, me encanta dar clase y me encantan los idiomas y siempre intento transmitir esa pasión a los demás. Prior to becoming a Film Editor, I worked as an English teacher in Guatemala City where I acquired an English Teacher Certificate at IGA (Instituto-Guatemalteco- Americano) While working as a teacher; I had the opportunity to work with different types of people; I taught children, teenagers, and adults. Learning foreign languages is my great passion. I speak or learn several of them. I know how important it is to practice speaking. Not everybody is lucky to have native speakers at hand. From time to time I help some of my friends living abroad to improve their Polish. I myself use italki to practice Italian and Arabic. I asked myself: why not help others with their Polish through italki? So I decided to become a tutor. I will do my best to do it in a funny, engaging and stress-free way. I teach Polish (mother tongue), English and Spanish (I speak them both fluently).

As a teacher I take into account my students' interests and integrate those ideas to my classes. I use a communicative approach, we discuss topics together and while discussing it you'll be learning grammatical structures and new vocabulary into the lesson.

I have taught on Italki for more than a year and I love it. I started this as a hobby and now I'm studying Spanish Teaching as a Foreign Language at UNAM to become a professional teacher. My objective is to be a guide to my students, since we all learn in different ways I try to adapt to my students learning styles and provide materials, corrections and suggestions to communicate more naturally. I want to make them feel comfortable to make mistakes, practice and talk about any topic.

I've taught since high school. It's a calling that allows me to contribute in some small way to the future, hoping to do a good job.

I'm taking a master degree in "Teaching Portuguese As a Foreign Language" in Lisbon. After that, I will go back to Macau to finish my second year's lessons from the same master. My teaching style is always very flexible and effective because most of my students who take my lessons they will feel very comfortable to open their mouth to speak! I will help them to learn how to combine their knowledge in the real life by using new vocabs and expressions in a natural way!

My life as a teacher begins at 2011. Since then, my professional formation and experience have been continuous (Spanish Studies degree, MA in Teaching of Spanish as a Foreign Language, and several courses related to teaching Spanish as a second language). I have worked in different countries (Spain, Sweden, Bosnia, France...) and in different learning contexts (NGOs, language Schools, online...) with different kind of students (ages, level, nationalities, goals). I speak Spanish very well (we speak it every day at home). I speak enough Mandarin Chinese to have a solid conversation. I chat with iTalki Chinese teachers several times a week to practice. As a fellow language learner and a trilingual, I have probably run into many of the same barriers and pitfalls you will encounter while learning your next language, so I can empathize with the many of the struggles you face.

Me gusta tener una idea de lo que se va a tratar en las clases, pero a la vez soy una persona que vive el momento sin muchos planes a seguir. Así que cada clase será diferente, para no aburrirnos. Nada mal, ¿no? A la hora de dar clase soy bastante perfeccionista, ya que quiero que al acabarla os vayáis con la sensación de que a base de "errores buenos/necesarios" como les llamo yo, es como se aprende. Y de que todavía queda mucho por aprender, pero que yo estoy aquí para ayudaros. Me llena de ilusión y alegria ver como los estudiantes mejoran y, poco a poco, se van dando cuenta de sus logros. ¡Qué subidón!
