Some of my hobbies include camping, fishing, music, art, photography and traveling. I love to get to know people and talk about their cultures (language, food, customs etc). I have been to many different countries including; Venezuela, Colombia, Cuba, Grenada, Costa Rica, Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala, Panama, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, England, United States and of course, CANADA!!
All of my teaching experience has been in both Costa Rica and Honduras. I taught a very small class each time and at a beginners level. I decided to become an English as a Second Language teacher because of my love of travel and people! Teaching English allows me to live anywhere in the world and have a flexible schedule to explore new places and cultures and teach about my own! Teaching in a small setting has gained me the experience of that which a tutor would gain, in that I know how to work closely one on one with an individual to help them gain the help that they need in a specific area of learning. I completed a 120 Hour Advanced TESOL course online and graduated with distinction.
As my experience has been with beginners English, the topics that I would be covering would be very basic. Topics such as; things discussed in everyday conversation, hobbies, likes, dislikes, and family etc. I enjoy getting into grammar topics such as nouns and adjectives.
