I’m originally from the UK and have been living overseas for almost 10 years. Passionate about culture, communication and problem-solving, I trained to become an English language teacher after graduating in Philosophy from the University of Sheffield. In addition to teaching English, I am a freelance business consultant with experience in executive recruitment, sales and marketing. In my spare time, you’ll probably find me brewing the perfect cup of coffee, trying out new recipes in the kitchen, cracking open a bottle of wine, reading articles about politics or social justice, or (let’s be honest) searching for something to watch on Netflix. Back in 2011, I trained for the Trinity College TESOL Certification in London (UK). As soon as I graduated, I was hired by the language school to begin teaching students. After a few months, I moved to Seville (Spain) and began teaching at a language academy in Seville (Spain). I also became a coordinator for TESOL Spain, a non-profit organisation dedicated to providing continued training and support to teachers of English. After a number of years, I moved to Buenos Aires (Argentina) and began working as a human resources consultant for multinational organisations.
