Merhaba! Hi! My name is Mehtap and I’m a teacher. I was born in Turkey and have lived in Istanbul for the majority of my life. I've also lived and studied abroad so I know how difficult it can be to learn another language. I have a Master’s Degree in Teaching and have been teaching Turkish over the last three years to children, teenagers and adults and all levels from A1 (Beginner) to C2 (fluent). My aim is to improve your Turkish so I base my lessons around the needs and objectives of my students. I have plenty of teaching material that we can use in our lessons or we can what you have been using previously, whatever suits you best. I’m passionate about teaching you about my language and culture and want our lessons to be as fun and interesting as possible. Excellent lesson! Mehtap was very thorough, and we covered greetings and introductory vocabulary. The lesson was already personalized, and included a game at the end utilizing the vocabulary covered in the lesson. I am looking forward to continuing my learning!

Mehtap is a patient teacher to teach someone who is a beginner of Turkish, because I am interested in turkey 🇹🇷, so she teaches me some easy greeting phrases and words today , then we practiced the small conversations again and again, to help me understand and remember it !!
