I am a CELTA qualified teacher with an 8.0 overall in IELTS (Speaking 8.0, Reading 8.5 and Listening 8.5) and I have been tutoring teenagers and adults to improve their speaking, pronunciation and listening skills. Vietnamese is my native language and I am also good at English. I had 4 years studying in University of social sciences and humanities of Ho Chi Minh city where I saw many foreigners studied Vietnamese. There are 2 purposes to study Vietnamese 1. You just want to know basic Vietnamese in daily life to live here for a short time or to travel. 2. I am a professional Vietnamese teacher since 2015. I am specialized in Southern accent. I have taught many students from basic level to advanced level, from travellers to businessmen. My lessons can be tailored to your requirements.

I started working as a Vietnamese and English tutor since early September last year, it has been an interesting, and wonderful experience to me personally. While helping an Australian friend study Vietnamese, I accidentally found out about my ability in teaching Languages, with the encouragement of my friend, the journey of me becoming a tutor began! I have seen myself having great passion in languages since I'm studying to become a translator and interpreter now. As for teaching experience, I do not consider myself as a master of teaching. However, the first thing that springs to my mind is that I teach with my passion and enthusiasm. I am not strict with my partner. I do not like putting pressure on my partner's shoulders. I honestly do not want people call me teacher because I think it is good to be their language partner. Together we figure out the best way to study languages quick and efficiently.

I can see myself a flexible and tolerant language teacher. There should not be nothing other than fun and new "wow" knowledge in my class. I would like to help my students to use language as an effective tool to open their eyes to new cultures, histories and people :-)
