I've been teaching English for the past 2 years. Primarily, I focus on young learners aged 6 up to 18 years of age. As far as I'm concerned, I have been learning English since I was 15. I've passed two Cambridge exams, namely First Certificate in English and Cambridge Advanced English. Thanks to my vast knowledge of English, I had worked as a Secretary to the Japanese Ambassador for 12 years before I started to run my own business.

I am a native English speaker with one year of experience teaching English to young students and one year of tutoring experience with adults. During my time as a language assistant in Cannes, France I created lessons that aligned with the specific level of each class, I used a combination of English and French to communicate with the students, and I enjoyed my role as an ambassador for the English language and American culture. While I was there I provided individual English lessons to adults. In these lessons we focused on vocabulary, listening comprehension, and oral comprehension. I am now residing in the United States and have recently received a 40-hour TEFL/TESOL certification.

During my schooldays I discovered that I excelled in language classes and I chose English and French as major subjects. Later on, I had the chance to intensify my language skills and add other languages during a vocational training and tourism studies. While I learned those languages in a classical classroom setting, there were no language courses or books available to learn the languages of Malaysia. I’m a Cambridge/CELTA qualified professional native English teacher with over 2 years experience in the classroom environment. As an ESL teacher (I have certification with TEFL) I was stunned to learn that something like 95% of students fail to reach even marginal fluency. To me that means there is something seriously wrong with the way students are being taught. I set out to discover the roots of this problem and I've discovered that there are several reasons. I've developed a method to help, but I also just teach conversational English if you prefer that.
