Hi, my name is Gea. I am a linguist, translator & teacher. I speak English, Spanish, French, Italian & German. I was born in Italy but grew up around the world, which gave me the possibility to learn all the languages I speak. I have a C2 level in English, Spanish & Italian, C1 in French & B2 in German. I love to teach and I want to give the best lessons to my students, as a matter of fact, in the first lesson I want to know the student, hear him/her, in order to make tailored lessons and prepare the correct material to be used I prepare tailored lessons in order to help them learn a foreign language, which is a very difficult task for a dyslexic student. As a teacher, in the last 25 years of experience, I've come across many different students. I currently teach English in an English school here in Italy, that's the reason my availability was limitated in the last year. Each one of them has their own characteristics and learning capacities. I try to elaborate custom methods together with the student, in order to reach the best learning procedure to use, from schematizations to memory methods, linguistic assonance and much more. I think that each student has a great potential and that the best teacher is the teacher that is able to take this potential and make it grow! I found Gea to be a very supportive and insightful teacher. Very quickly Gea understood and interpreted my language intentions. I was surprised by, and put at the ease by, the skill with which she identified and managed my limited knowledge of the Italian language. I am delighted that within such a short space of time I was able to understand and also to make myself understood.

Gea is an excellent teacher who knows how to encourage her students! She has plenty of useful material and exercises (I guess about everything?!) and knows a lot about so many languages! That’s why she can help so precisely because she too had to learn different languages. I almost had given up all hope on my Italian pronunciation but Gea surprised me with so good exercises so that I can already see improvements after one (and a half) lessons! I will keep on practicing! :)
