The grammar classes (as are her others as well) are extremely well prepared, detailed, and organized. You may think “I don’t plan on writing a book in Korean so what’s the point of learning this?” The point is, you’re learning to properly understand the language including how to speak and write which will set you apart from others. You will sound educated and be more confident because you speak the language properly. Also, for anyone that is curious about her English speaking abilities- she speaks English very well. She understands English grammar so she communicates very easily with you and explains and compares what we know, why we use it, and how it’s the same, similar, or completely different in regards to Korean grammar. She’s also patient and kind. I struggle to remember what we just went over two seconds before, in the same class, and she reminds me to relax, breathe, and not be nervous.

Had a lovely first lesson with Iva. Reviewing and refining the alphabet which I have learnt independently. It makes such a difference to have a one to one session with a tutor to perfect pronunciation and feel supported and encouraged which helps with confidence. Iva was very prepared and very professional. Looking forward to my next lesson.

Iva is truly amazing. She's great with beginner :) now I can clearly differentiate between topic and subject particles! Thank you so much for being so patient with me. I enjoyed our class so much!

If you want a strong foundation in grammar, take Iva's lessons. She gives a thorough explanation and then practice exercises to make sure you understood the concepts and can use them correctly. Thank you, as always!
