My name is Edward. I'm from Costa Rica, I enjoy reading as well as writing both fiction and education related articles. I also love cooking, traveling and doing sports. I learned TaeKwonDo from my dad since I was a little boy and recently have started climbing! Very exciting! I like history and watching movies, tv shows and documentaries. I never thought I would make a career in education, I went to University to major in Physics with a focus on research and from there I take my passion for researching the many different methods and things to be considered when learning. I don't consider myself a teacher, I am simply someone who loves learning and I like that as an educator I get to share that passion with others and also learn from them in the process. I approach teaching the same way I approached learning the things I have learned before; by making sure that it connects to me and to the things that matter to me and that at the end of the day, knowledge is empty and only comes to life when we put our own spin on it. Every person and every brain is different and I enjoy working with my students to figure out the best way to get them to understand and acquire a new language or a new concept.
