Konnichiwa! My name is Megumi, I’m a native Japanese speaker from Saitama. こんにちは！わたしはめぐみです。 I enjoy traveling, cooking and meeting new people. I've been to over 15 countries so far. 旅行や料理、色々な人に会うことが好きですです。今までに15カ国以上の国に行ったことがあります。 Before I became a Japanese teacher, I worked for financial institution. But I wanted to change my life at some point and decided going to Canada. I gained wonderful experiences there. Those experiences definitely changed my way of thinking and led to this job. I super super love chatting with Megumi-sensei!! She's such an amazing conversationalist that I completely lost track of the time because I was having so much fun chatting with her!! I also really appreciate how she not only corrects what I'm saying but that she also gives suggestions for how to say things more naturally and gives me alternate ways of saying things. That way I always feel like I'm learning so much (grammar, vocab, usage) while also having SO much fun!! 楽しい話をありがとうございます！Looking forward to next lesson as always! :)

I've really enjoyed my first lesson with Megumi Sensei; the hour just flew by! I really like how she always corrects my awkward speech and suggests more natural ways of expressing something. She has all the hallmarks of a great teacher! :)

Megumi-sensei was very kind and supportive throughout the whole lesson. This was my first trial lesson with her. She encourages me to learn new things but is still very patient in explaning.
