If you want to practice speaking the vocabulary, phrases, and idioms of Business English, then you have your choice of 26, one-hour long Power Point based classes. If you want to Make more money and have more success in your personal life, then my Business Management classes are recommended for you!

I am passionate about teaching because I can share my knowledge with others, which I find very rewarding. My personal experience learning new languages allows me to put myself in my student’s position and understand their point of view. I am kind and patient, so I make my students feel relaxed throughout the lessons. I also make every teaching hour interesting and exciting in order to keep my students engaged and motivated.

Writing has always been one of my passions because the ability to express oneself through words has such an impact on the reality that one creates. During my years in university I excelled in all my English classes. I was chosen to be a teacher’s assistant for ESL classes, and I worked in the English Lab alongside English professors to edit and revise student essays. I recently obtained a TEFOL and have received several offers to teach at International Schools around the planet. On my free time, I compose poems and transpose fluid thoughts into writing as a way to release feelings and emotions.

I have been teaching English since July 2018. About a year ago, I went back to study to become a teacher and came back with a distinction and a qualification -TQUK Level 5 Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (RQF). I also completed an additional 20 Hours of classroom practice. I progressed further and successfully completed and passed a 30-hour Teaching Business English course and this has become my forte and I focus on teaching students at all levels from elementary to intermediate to advanced level where they want to improve their language skills for business or general english.

As a native English speaker, I specialize in on-the-job practice, building confidence, and pronunciation. I speak "neutral American English," which is the accent appearing on TV series and Hollywood movies. I have a Master's degree in teaching and a Bachelor's degree in journalism and business. I love teaching and helping my students expand their knowledge! I am happy to teach people from ALL over the world! Most of my students are of an intermediate - advanced level, but this is not a requirement! I have previous experience working as a teaching assistant at a school in the UK. I have been teaching in a business setting for more than 25 years. For the past 5 years, I have been teaching phonics - the proper "sound" of English - to adults and children for whom English is a second language. I use Phonics International's Systematic Synthetic Phonics program to methodically teach every sound spoken in the English language, helping you understand spoken English more easily as well as speak using English more fluently.

As a teacher, I try my best to create a friendly, welcoming space for you to learn English. I know how nerve-wracking it can be as a language learner, no matter what level you are, and so I want you to feel happy and comfortable during our lessons to make mistakes and not feel embarrassed. Making mistakes with me is the best thing you can do as I'll correct you (nicely, of course!) and help you stop making that mistake again. All of this will be done naturally as I don't want anyone to feel overwhelmed by English, particularly when speaking with me. We're in this together.
