I started teaching Arabic 5 years ago and I taught over 1000 lessons on italki. As a language learner myself I know how challenging it can be to learn a language. I enjoy teaching Arabic and I made a lot of friends through teaching. My teaching experience began as an assistant in a Daycare. I was teaching 2 & 3 year olds and it was fun! That was the turning point for me. I've always recognized the impact a teacher could have on a student because of how my teachers inspired me. But in that daycare, it was the students that had an impact on me as a teacher! Learning does not have to be hard or boring , no matter what age you are or what you are learning. Of course it takes effort, but it can be a process that you can enjoy. Being from Nigeria where English is the official language, I've spoken English from birth. In addition to being a native speaker, I have a clear accent which makes me easy to understand. Living in a country where my native language isn't spoken I've seen that the best way to quickly improve your speaking skills is by practicing regularly with a native speaker. I decided to start giving English lessons when I saw that there was a demand for native/ near-native English speakers in Hungary. I have over 3 years of experience working with people of all ages & nationalities both online & in person. In the last year, I've helped students prepare for the IELTS exam with positive results.

I have taken great interest in teaching techniques applicable to dyslexics and that is also the topic of my dissertation. I love hands-on approach, always trying to get to know my learners to see what approach suits them best and what type of learners they are - visual, auditory or kinestetic. I always aim to adjust my lessons to the needs of the learners. I care about my students and want them to always get the best out of their time with me. Therefore, I accept a maximum of 7 lessons per day because pass this number, I would be too tired and would not be able to offer my 100%. I want my students to get no less than that!
