Soy una persona muy interesada en idiomas, tanto aprenderlos como ensañarlos. I'm really interested in languages, both learning and teaching them. Estoy siempre al tanto de nuevas técnicas pedagógicas y discusiones sobre la adquisición del lenguaje. I'm always up to date on new pedagogic techniques and discussions on language acquisition. Me encanta ser parte de la comunidad políglota en internet, especialmente en twitter. I love being part of the polyglot community online and especially on twitter. Estudié una maestría en Relaciones Internacionales porque me gusta mucho la política y la historia. Right now I´m working as an English-Spanish translator for academic articles. Soy completamente bilingüe Español-Inglés, entonces entiendo los problemas que se enfrentan los angloparlantes al estudiar Español y vice versa. As a language learner I know how hard and frustrating, but also how rewarding language learning can be. I have been teaching English as both a private and corporate teacher for 6 years. I have two college degrees (Physics and Philosophy) and a masters in International Relations. Tengo mucha experiencia enseñando idiomas y me encantaría conocerte. Manu is just an outrageously good language tutor. She has an excellent understanding of what needs to happen in a language lesson. I've taken *a lot* of lessons on iTalki (and myself am a language teacher), and Manu is one of the very best. Highly recommended.

A few decades ago, I was living in Miami and working in Latin America. Since then I have rarely had the opportunity to speak Spanish. Now I have begun working in Latin America market again. Manu has been a fantastic help, not only in getting me back into speaking and writing, but has helped me prepare presentations. She is patient, organized and quickly delivers follow-up material after each session including lists of corrections and new words. I highly recommend Manu, who is a true bilingual, to anyone who want to improve their language skills In Spanish or English.
