I am a highly experienced ESL teacher having spent more than 10 years in this field, teaching a variety of students from different age groups, ability levels and educational backgrounds. I have also helped students work towards a diverse selection of goals, from improving general English conversation skills to preparing for their IELTS exam. Since the beginning of my teaching career in 2005, I have worked in, both government and private schools, universities and private language institutions. In 2014, I began making the transition to online teaching which now makes up for the majority of my working week. These positions have equipped me with the necessary skills. As a teacher, I enter each classroom with a rich experience allowing me to identify both a student's strengths and weaknesses. I am flexible and approachable, and I make a concerted effort to help ease any tensions a student may be feeling towards learning a new language or attempting to pass a test. I am a great believer that the learning experience should be a pleasurable one, and that people perform best in the classroom when they are enjoying the process. I am British and speak the English language with a very neutral accent which makes me easy to understand. I am also very familiar with the IELTS test, having successfully coached many students from around the world to reach their goal. Tom helped me to get 7.0 in the IELTS test. His help in preparing for the Speaking and Writing parts was invaluable for me. Tom is a very big professional, his lessons are well-structured and full of hardworking. Tom will be a good choice, if you want to get a good score in the IELTS
