I'm Teacher Amy! I am British/Australian; I am lucky to have lived across both countries for most my life. This has given me a neutral accent that is easy to understand and experience in working with students from many different countries and cultures. I have been travelling since I was sixteen years old and have discovered a love for Asian culture (and food!). I have lived in Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and I now live permanently in the Philippines. When I am not exploring local food markets, I like to spend my time scuba diving in the ocean or hiking through a jungle. I have over four years teaching and training experiences. Over the past two years, I have taught English online to children and adults at all experience levels. I have completed over 3500+ online lessons and have proven success in helping students achieve their goals. I also have additional experience in examination preparation, IELTS examinations and business/academic English. I have a Bachelor's Degree and TEFL Certification. I provide personalised lessons that are tailored to meet your goals. I pride myself on my ability to teach both American and British English, whilst sharing my passion for expressive vocabulary and correct pronunciation. I've just had my first lesson with Amy, we did some jobs interviews practice and she was so helpful, giving me some advice on how to best answer some questions. If you want to prepare for some jobs interviews I totally recommend her!!

My daughter took her first class from Amy. It was good to have them speak in sentences and correct them if they were wrong. I also liked that she was using PPT to allow my daughter to participate in class. I hope I can have a lesson with Amy again next time.
