I've been talking to people on italki for six years now, most of the students love to talk to me and I love to talk to people all over the world. You would be surprised at how many people just want to talk to a native English speaking person.

My goal is always to tailor my class to the individual student's need. I think it's important to identify what your goals are and create a plan for how we can reach them!

I have been teaching online for a period of time now. I enjoy talking to people from different cultures (teaching them about my culture and they teach me about their cultures). i enjoy every lesson I have with my students, I hope they do too.

About 7 years ago I became an English teacher, which gave me skills to teach Croatian language as well. I have become very proficient in teaching through Skype, which is my favorite way to teach. My students are all types of people and age groups. Teaching is my passion in life and I especially enjoy learning about other cultures while I do it. In our lessons we can use different tools for any request, including GRAMMAR books, for BOTH languages. By creating fun and relaxed lessons, we can cover any aspect of the language you wish to focus on.

Even before college, I liked to teach English to my classmates. Those who had problems with the language came to me and requested my help with certain topics. That is where my love for teaching was born. I teach using mnemonics, and I force you to learn with creativity. Not only you learn the mundane parts of a language but also the cool ones in a fun way. Using weird but cool examples you put into practice what you have learned. I teach also using the Aula Internacional books.

I have experience teaching English and Spanish at the different schools I have attended. Also, I have participated in creative writing competitions and debates, this allows me to have an open mind and listen to all points of view, as well as being patient and understanding. I believe that learning has to be fun and enjoyable, that not only brings light into your life but a useful tool for your everyday. I have taken great interest in teaching techniques applicable to dyslexics and that is also the topic of my dissertation. I love hands-on approach, always trying to get to know my learners to see what approach suits them best and what type of learners they are - visual, auditory or kinestetic. I always aim to adjust my lessons to the needs of the learners. I care about my students and want them to always get the best out of their time with me. I started working as a Vietnamese and English tutor since early September last year, it has been an interesting, and wonderful experience to me personally. While helping an Australian friend study Vietnamese, I accidentally found out about my ability in teaching Languages, with the encouragement of my friend, the journey of me becoming a tutor began! I have seen myself having great passion in languages since I'm studying to become a translator and interpreter now.
