My goal as your teacher is to improve your speaking skills! I have many topics of interest that we can talk about. I'm an outspoken person and a good listener. During our classes, I'll pay attention to your issues/needs/difficulties, always taking notes on them to be discussed during each class and teaching the techniques to fix them.

I offer different types of language lessons. For English learners I offer conversational practice. As a former journalist, I know hundreds of interesting stories. And I do believe, that best way to gain your confidency in speaking is just interesting conversation with the teacher's feedback. Concerning Russian - it's my mothertongue, and I'll be proud to help you learn Russian. I teach students of all levels, from total beginners up to advanced students, so whatever level you are - you're very welcome!

I still remember the first time I had to do a formal presentation in a foreign language at work, it was a thrilling experience, to say the least! Repetition through conversation is a great way to remember some easily forgotten words. Ted Talks are also a heavy focus for students who have already mastered grammar; I provide a wide range of videos as well as conversation topics and difficult vocabulary explained.

I have been teaching children for about 30 years. My specialty is working with children with Special Needs - particularly those who have difficulties with reading, spelling and maths. I am also involved in Adult Education, helping women who are training to be preschool teachers.
