I have been teaching English professionally for over 5 years. I have taught students as young as 1.5 years old up to 45 years old and I have really enjoyed working with each student. Every person has their own style of learning and things that make them unique. I feel it’s important to know get to know you as a person and make a lesson that is personal and suited to your abilities! I studied Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) a few years ago and started teaching about 15 years ago to 2 to 8-year-olds at a private creche. I also teach private lessons to advanced students to improve their grammar, vocabulary and conversational skills but I have always enjoyed the beginners more and love watching a student gain satisfaction from learning new language skills.

In our classes together you will quickly learn this technique of speaking Professional Grade English then I will encourage you to practice it with me, turning it from a skill into a habit. You can select from two groups of Business Classes to read with me so you learn how to succeed in business while you are improving your English at the same time. If you want to practice speaking the vocabulary, phrases, and idioms of Business English, then you have your choice of 26, one-hour long Power Point based classes. If you want to Make more money and have more success in your personal life, then my Business Management classes are recommended for you!

I am passionate about teaching because I can share my knowledge with others, which I find very rewarding. My personal experience learning new languages allows me to put myself in my student’s position and understand their point of view. I am kind and patient, so I make my students feel relaxed throughout the lessons. I also make every teaching hour interesting and exciting in order to keep my students engaged and motivated.

Writing has always been one of my passions because the ability to express oneself through words has such an impact on the reality that one creates. During my years in university I excelled in all my English classes. I was chosen to be a teacher’s assistant for ESL classes, and I worked in the English Lab alongside English professors to edit and revise student essays. I recently obtained a TEFOL and have received several offers to teach at International Schools around the planet. On my free time, I compose poems and transpose fluid thoughts into writing as a way to release feelings and emotions.

I have been teaching English since July 2018. About a year ago, I went back to study to become a teacher and came back with a distinction and a qualification -TQUK Level 5 Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (RQF). I also completed an additional 20 Hours of classroom practice. I progressed further and successfully completed and passed a 30-hour Teaching Business English course and this has become my forte and I focus on teaching students at all levels from elementary to intermediate to advanced level where they want to improve their language skills for business or general english.

Being a dedicated full time Swahili teacher, i constantly create new materials, exercises that will help my students reach their goals.

I have a special need to help people who dream of visiting or relocating, doing business with, or meeting new friends from English Speaking countries with no language or communication barriers. I will help you actualise those dreams.

As a native English speaker, I specialize in on-the-job practice, building confidence, and pronunciation. I speak "neutral American English," which is the accent appearing on TV series and Hollywood movies. I have a Master's degree in teaching and a Bachelor's degree in journalism and business. I have experience of teaching English in Ecuador I have taught Swedish with the Nordic Society at University College London (UCL). I enjoy teaching languages primarily because of the lovely people I get to met along the way. I love sharing my passion for reading and for great films with my students. Other people's curiosities invite me to explore new fields so that I can be a bridge for them.

I love teaching and helping my students expand their knowledge! I am happy to teach people from ALL over the world! Most of my students are of an intermediate - advanced level, but this is not a requirement! I have previous experience working as a teaching assistant at a school in the UK. I have assisting students with their spoken conversational English, Business English, vocabulary and pronunciation, public speaking and letters and emails. I have spent most of my professional career assisting individuals in business or corporate careers who are wanting to develop their communication skills. In 2008 I enrolled on a teacher training course in Peru and I have been teaching English ever since. I am familiar with the latest TEFL techniques and I will help you learn my language whatever your level. All you need is a little dedication and perseverance! I love my job and I mostly teach adults but also children from age 9 upwards. I have a neutral, easily understood British accent, perfect for teaching English. I have a lot of patience and I am particularly proficient in teaching English to native Spanish speakers, but it really doesn't matter where you are from.

I have been teaching in a business setting for more than 25 years. For the past 5 years, I have been teaching phonics - the proper "sound" of English - to adults and children for whom English is a second language. I use Phonics International's Systematic Synthetic Phonics program to methodically teach every sound spoken in the English language, helping you understand spoken English more easily as well as speak using English more fluently.
