I am a native French speaker and my lessons focus on conversation. I provide detailed corrections in written form during the lessons. I have learned several languages in little time and I can help you do the same in French.

I am kind and patient, and I easily forgive the many mistakes that students make. Occasionally, when appropriate, I correct and illustrate how best to improve. But my style of teaching is not rigorous or severe or unforgiving. I prefer to adopt a teaching style where students enjoy and have a good time, because I have often witnessed that if students really enjoy each lesson then their progress is easier and quicker.

For the last 2.5 years, I have been teaching to students from over 16 countries here on italki. I have prepared them for job interviews, video recordings, public speaking, immigration language tests, business meetings and project presentations. I will adapt the content of our lessons according to your interests and needs. I create the right environment for learning by helping you feel comfortable with making mistakes. J'exerce en tant que PLEG (Professeur de Lycée d'Enseignement Général ) depuis décembre 2014, date de l'obtention de mon diplôme à l'école normale de Bambili (Région Nord-Ouest - Cameroun). Je suis donc professeur de géologie formé. Ensuite, je travaille en tant que professeur de français temporaire dans les écoles anglaises et en tant que professeur d'anglais temporaire dans les écoles françaises depuis 2016 (date à laquelle j'ai obtenu mon diplôme de Master of Science).

My name is Sylvie. And I've been learning quite a few languages on Italki. You can just youtube my nickname Sylin and you'll see:-) I'm a french native speaker (with a Parisian accent) and I'm looking forward to teaching you this beautiful language.
