I have been a peer facilitator for 2 years in university. I have been in different leadership positions from college to university that forced me to grow out of my shell as a native speaker. I have assisted my non-native (Afrikaans speakers) friends with English throughout university. I have given them the confidence to speak English when they needed to. I love hands-on approach, always trying to get to know my learners to see what approach suits them best and what type of learners they are - visual, auditory or kinestetic.
