I received TEFL certification from The Boston Language Institute. The program was an in-person 120-hour program that included supervised teaching of actual ESL classes. During the course, the instructors regularly told me that I should specialize in Business English. Since leaving Boston Language Institute, I have taught at language schools, privately tutored, and also worked as a high school English and World Studies teacher.

Almost five years now, and perhaps 6000 hours of online teaching. I make liberal use of online materials, and I like englishclub.com, ABC Radio National, TED Wolfram Coursera EDX, and recently linguapress.com. My sessions are particularly free and subject to your wishes, needs and goals. I am equally happy to chit-chat, or address deep and troubling issues, to delve into science grammar technology. I started my teaching career during my senior year of high school when I taught in a 3rd grade classroom. In university I tutored exchange students in English, and have even tutored children in piano. Since then I've spent almost 5 years teaching in different countries. I am a TEFL certified English teacher, and Cambridge certified IELTS teacher, and have taught English to adults for over 10 years both in classrooms and online. As a new graduate from the university, I have limited experience in teaching. However, I took part in the CELTA training and acquired the certificate after obtaining my degrees. I believe that I will become a good teacher, as my CELTA tutors assessed: I'm a patient teacher who would make my students confortable during the lesson, I'm able to respond to the feedback and improve my lessons and teaching skills, and most importantly, I am motivated as a teacher.
