I started my teaching career during my senior year of high school when I taught in a 3rd grade classroom. In university I tutored exchange students in English, and have even tutored children in piano. Since then I've spent almost 5 years teaching in different countries. As much as I like teaching languages I also enjoy learning languages. This helps me see things from your perspective and understand how to most effectively help you reach your goals.

My students know me as a kind and patient teacher who likes to design lessons that are student orientated. I am a TEFL & TESOL qualified teacher and have over 3 years of experience teaching many different types of English to people from different countries. I started off my teaching career in Thailand, teaching conversational English to Thai high school students. I have had hundreds of students from beginner to advanced levels and I always structure my lessons depending on the needs of each student. I have my own material and books that I have used to teach grammar, writing, listening, reading and speaking for many years and they have proved to be very effective.

I have been teaching for a while now and the experience has been amazing. I enjoy interacting with people from different parts of the work. Teaching gives me a chance to travel and learn about different cultures and that motivates me to be great at it.

For a student and a teacher, rescheduling is possible less than 24 hours prior to a class. It means we both can anytime reschedule a lesson and we should be flexible about it. As a new graduate from the university, I have limited experience in teaching. However, I took part in the CELTA training and acquired the certificate after obtaining my degrees. I believe that I will become a good teacher, as my CELTA tutors assessed: I'm a patient teacher who would make my students confortable during the lesson, I'm able to respond to the feedback and improve my lessons and teaching skills, and most importantly, I am motivated as a teacher.

In my college B.A studies, I studied a wide range of topics related to the English language, including but not limited to : listening and written comprehension, conversation, English & American literature, creative writing & poetry, academic writing, letter writing, journalistic English, business & office English, linguistics, phonology & pronunciation, grammar & syntax etc. I also completed a 120-hour TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) course, and I have 4 months of experience (it's not much, I'll give you that, but better than nothing) teaching English to kids and teenagers at a private language school. I can teach either English or French!

I have been teaching basic English and Mathematics to underprivileged kids in India. Being a daughter of two teachers, I have always had this inclination towards teaching all my life. Funny story, as a kid, when my parents used to have a Bring Your Children to Work Day, I would always end up in an empty classroom with chalk in my hand teaching nobody.

My overall experience in tutoring is 5 years. My fields of expertise in linguistics include English, Telugu, Hindi and Sanskrit languages. As stated in my introduction video, I am a TEFL certified ESL English teacher. I have five years experience teaching English as a second language to people of all ages. As well as five years experience, I created and designed the full English language curriculum currently used in the Globe Elementary Private school in Wuhan, China. Creating and deigning the curriculum allowed me to learn so much about the different teaching styles and techniques which I now use in my own classes. I have been teaching from a very young age and outside paid teaching, I'm always translating things into Persian and visa versa for my family. I enjoy teaching and it has become second nature for me.
