Now, I’m learning Hebrew and 中文, so I’m always finding and testing new strategies ＆ tactics for my students. I believe in the old saying “make new friends and keep the old….” Your time is valuable, and the truth is teachers can write whatever they want. When choosing a teacher, the first thing I look at is (total lessons taught ÷ number of students) - 1 (the 1st lesson isn't a returning student).

I take a calm and relaxed approach because I want you to feel comfortable and you will get the most out of the lessons if you are feeling relaxed. I'd like to find out about hobbies and interests as well as your specific goals so that the lessons are as interesting and relevant to you as they can be. It's important for me to get to know your preferences, for example whether you want me to give you feedback continually and correct any mistakes you make at the time, or if you prefer me to give more general feedback at the end of the lesson. Good communication with you is a priority for me and I will always welcome your questions and suggestions!

My personal opinion is that anyone can learn a language: it is not a talent, but a skill. Just like math or riding a skateboard, it is a skill that you can develop. I do not have any teaching materials (workbooks or exercise books). Any readings we do in class, the student should find for themselves. But working with me (a native English speaker) will help you improve your speaking, writing and reading skills in an informal and casual way!

I am experienced in teaching a topic that a lot of students overlook whilst learning a language, which is phonetics. My main focus when it relates to language teaching is putting close attention at its pronunciation, since languages are living entities used to communicate with people, and learning a language's phonology is key in order to break that gap left when speaking in a foreign language.
