I have loads of experience of helping people learn English as I have volunteered for multiple organisations which support refugees and asylum seekers, I run a group helping people learn English through games, and I do lots of conversation exchanges as I speak French and Spanish and these also involve helping people with their English. As stated in my introduction video, I am a TEFL certified ESL English teacher. I have five years experience teaching English as a second language to people of all ages. As well as five years experience, I created and designed the full English language curriculum currently used in the Globe Elementary Private school in Wuhan, China. Creating and deigning the curriculum allowed me to learn so much about the different teaching styles and techniques which I now use in my own classes. I believe in using many forms of media in my lessons to allow for more creative learning. Videos, PPTs, songs, flashcards- whatever your interest, I'm confident I can find the best way to help you learn with ease.

I have been teaching from a very young age and outside paid teaching, I'm always translating things into Persian and visa versa for my family. I enjoy teaching and it has become second nature for me. I like it when you ask me a lot of questions as it shows you are engaging with the lesson and I will go to great lengths to explain something to you.

I try to see myself as teacher and an artist, I have a strong background in education with over a decade of experience teaching people in many different forms: traditional classroom (French and Theatre classes in the US public Education System), yoga studios, artistic workshops, academia, and online. I have a Master Degree in teaching Italian and the CELTA certification to teach English, so I can truly understand the differences between the two languages and I can help you avoid translation errors and recognize false friends. I consider myself fortunate to have had the chance to combine the two things I love the most - travelling and teaching and in fact I taught languages in several countries: Uk, China, Germany and now Italy.
