Writing has always been one of my passions because the ability to express oneself through words has such an impact on the reality that one creates. During my years in university I excelled in all my English classes. I was chosen to be a teacher’s assistant for ESL classes, and I worked in the English Lab alongside English professors to edit and revise student essays. I recently obtained a TEFOL and have received several offers to teach at International Schools around the planet. On my free time, I compose poems and transpose fluid thoughts into writing as a way to release feelings and emotions.

I specialize in spoken English. I focus on three important elements: pronunciation, fluency, and intonation. This is not a hobby. It is my full time job and passion. I take great pride in my work and want you to get the maximum out of my classes. I am TEFL certified and I am currently working towards getting CELTA qualified. PLEASE NOTE : My conversation classes are fully structured classes and you will be getting a wide range of activities and a lot of detailed feedback. I have seven years teaching English with a degree in philosophy and theology (also started a PhD), a teaching qualification (CELTA)and heaps of experience gained in universities in Japan and English international schools in the UK and China. I have extensive experience and specilaise in IELTS, Cambridge exam prep(FCE, CAE, CPE,)TOEIC and TOEFL with further experience in Business, Economics and Academcic English. I have been involved in designing and initiating an Economics English, Film Studies and Creative writing curriculum.

As I speak both languages very fluently, you can choose ONLY English/Japanese lessons (ex. if you want to improve your speaking skills), or English AND Japanese lessons (ex. if you’re a beginner, or if you want to understand grammar or the meaning of words clearly). I am a TEFL certified English teacher, and Cambridge certified IELTS teacher, and have taught English to adults for over 10 years both in classrooms and online. I specialise preparing students for the IELTS exam. I teach intermediate to advanced students who want to take their English to the next level.

I have been teaching in a business setting for more than 25 years. For the past 5 years, I have been teaching phonics - the proper "sound" of English - to adults and children for whom English is a second language. I use Phonics International's Systematic Synthetic Phonics program to methodically teach every sound spoken in the English language, helping you understand spoken English more easily as well as speak using English more fluently.

I hold a CertTESOL certificate so I'm a qualified English teacher. I was lucky to teach in 4 countries- the UK, Spain, Poland and currently I’m teaching in Italy. Teaching has been a great experience for me, I like to get to know my students and have real interactions, build up a relationship and work together towards their goal.

According to my Major and spending time learning languages like EN,FR. so I know Exactly what to do to make process while learning a new language easier. and I know what struggles you might face as I did. at least knowing how it feels makes me always trying to do my best to make it easier for you!! I love learning languages and I can teach it too. so we will have fun ways of learning. a lot of different activities to avoid those boring moments while learning a new language!

A few years ago I was teaching English to mostly kids while working Spain, but then I decided to go travelling around the world teaching adults working professionals using Skype, so that I could make more use of my engineering degree and combine it with English teaching. I was motivated to start teaching English this way because of the amount of knowledge of different cultures and industries/professions that I was able to gain from teaching these lessons. I also like to study language/linguistics etc so that I can use effective methods to help students reach a higher level of fluency with real, solid methods that work.

Being a teacher for me means to transmit energy, passion and motivation to learn a new language. For me every lesson is my personal promise to give my best attitude, energy and knowledge to every single student. Throughout years of study I tested on my own skin various approaches to language learning and developed natural, informal and very communicative approach to teaching. I am happy to help you understand that a path to accomplish your language learning goals and gain more confidence can be both rewarding and fun by adjusting lesson flow to your needs and level. I received TEFL certification from The Boston Language Institute. The program was an in-person 120-hour program that included supervised teaching of actual ESL classes. During the course, the instructors regularly told me that I should specialize in Business English. Since leaving Boston Language Institute, I have taught at language schools, privately tutored, and also worked as a high school English and World Studies teacher.
