Hello :) My name is Or Carmel. I born and raised in Israel, (Hebrew native speaker) and now I am living in Amsterdam. In the Netherlands, my everyday life communication language is English. I have Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Economics and East Asian studies. Learning a new language can be a challenge. I personally learned Chinese in the past, and now I am learning Dutch. These experiences help me to understand the difficulties and also the satisfaction of the learning. A language isn't only for general knowledge or for business. It is a window for a culture, a way of thinking and a mindset. As human beings who want to experience life at the fullest, I truly believe that learn a new language is a deep way of exploring the world. I promise to make my greatest effort to allow you to feel joy, motivation and curiosity. These qualities will help you to be consistent with your learning. My goal is to believe in my students, but also to encourage you to believe in yourself. If you will have the motivation, fascination and joy of learning, nothing will stop you from keep and doing it for a long amount of time. This is the best way to learn, with patience and joy.
