I've been teaching English for the past 2 years. Primarily, I focus on young learners aged 6 up to 18 years of age. As far as I'm concerned, I have been learning English since I was 15. I've passed two Cambridge exams, namely First Certificate in English and Cambridge Advanced English. As an ESL teacher (I have certification with TEFL) I was stunned to learn that something like 95% of students fail to reach even marginal fluency. To me that means there is something seriously wrong with the way students are being taught. I set out to discover the roots of this problem and I've discovered that there are several reasons. I've developed a method to help, but I also just teach conversational English if you prefer that.
