I am from California, in the USA and I speak American English. I am a world traveler and I have lived in USA, Germany, South Korea, Taiwan and Peru. I have a lot of experience helping people of all ages and all ability levels. My hobbies are travel, photography and videography. My experience includes ten years experience teaching English at the secondary and university levels, five years experience teaching Business English to executives and professionals, including lawyers and engineers, plus eight years teaching primary grade students in the public schools in the United States My study of languages includes German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Latin, Chinese, Japanese and Korean. My second language is Spanish. I like to use visual aids (photos and videos) to teach English conversation. My teaching style is visual and conversational. I like to use articles, photographs and videos. I like to direct the student´s attention to content or a topic, and then guide the production of language and guide the student in the process of self-discovery of proper use of grammar, vocabulary and usage. I integrate visual components with reading and discussion of selected texts.

Our class today was so funny! Mr Eric is always an awesome teacher! He is so much fun and help me a lot with my pronunciation and vocabulary. His classes are always very diverse and help improve conversational skills. One of the best teachers that I had in italki =) Looking forward to our next class! Thank you so much Mr Eric!
