Hello my fellow language learners! みなさんこんにちは！りきです。 I'm a native Japanese speaker from Tokyo. I'm currently on a working holiday in Vancouver, and I'm very passionate about traveling. I've visited around 10 countries in the past few years. Some of my hobbies include traveling (duh!), watching movies, and most importantly, learning new languages. Being a language learner myself, I know how challenging it can be for some of you to learn a foreign language - but don't worry. I'm here to help you :) I'm looking forward to seeing you all in my class! それでは、授業でお会いしましょう！ (On a side note, I'm not scary at all I promise.) The main goal of my lessons is to make them fun and engaging for all students. If you have anything in particular that you want to do, feel free to tell me! 楽しく、役に立つ日本語を教えます！やりたいことがあればいつでも言ってください。 In terms of teaching experience, I've taught a lot of international students at my university. As always classes with Riki sensei are amazing and fun and I always learn so much for him! I'm starting to feel more confident about visiting Japan in 8 months and he even gave me advice on where to visit! Arigatou Gozaimashita Riki Sensei!

Amazing teaching method. I truly appreciate his efforts for making extra worksheets and being patient with my many questions and mistakes. Riki san also speaks gently and pronounce Japanese words ultimately, which makes hearing Japanese easy. I think I'm learning a lot. Thanks!

Very fun lesson, I like how Riki Sensei lets the lesson flow naturally and points out my mistakes. I feel like I'm starting to understand how important listening is, and paying attention to certain verbs is crucial to context.

These lessons are so good I feel every single one deserves its own feedback. りき先生,あなたから学べば学ぶほど,どんどん良くなっていきます. As a student I'm used to having my ideas and goals brought down a notch by teachers, but Riki actually does the opposite, challenging me to go beyond my limitations. This is so refreshing and hugely beneficial. どうもありがとうございます :)
