I am a native English speaker from London, England and a passionate language teacher and learner. I have been studying Spanish for several years and have previously studied French. I belive that these expreiences of learning languages have helped me gain a better understranding of the difficulties involved in acquiring a second language. I'm originally from London and am now I'm living in Buenos Aires, Argentina, having previously lived in Santiago, Chile. I love to travel, read, cook, study and meet new people. I am friendly, patient, supportive and above all motivated to help you reach your objectives. I am a TEFL certified English teacher, and Cambridge certified IELTS teacher, and have taught English to adults for over 10 years both in classrooms and online. I specialise preparing students for the IELTS exam. I teach intermediate to advanced students who want to take their English to the next level. In the first lesson we will talk about your objectives and reasons for studying English, as well as discussing your strengths and weaknesses. From there I will develop a personalised study plan to suit your individual needs. I have a large variety of materials to keep the classes interesting and motivating!

Having done these 11 lessons with Roberts, I definitely feel improvement in my speaking not only in practical skills but also in self-confidence. I did my very first IELTS speaking test today and I'm sure it would be great news!

I would highly recommend Robert to anyone who wants to prepare their IELTS speaking. Robert gives a very clear guide to each part of the speaking test, which helps a lot and improves your confidence. when you enter the real test room, you would know exactly what you should do.
