Since my childhood I have been into languages and literature. I remember myself sitting in my backyard reading J.K.Rowling and dreaming about entering Hogwarts. Now, being an adult, I understand where my love to English comes from. Moreover, it triggered me to choose teaching as my future work. I love my job. It combines quite a lot of the skills, including painting, public speaking, writing, creative thinking, music feeling and managing. I am doing my best to improve each of them every day, because, as we all know, there is no limit of perfection. A good teacher is not only one strong side. It is a combo of a sense of humor, knowledge, patience and enthusiasm. I am keeping my finger on the pulse trying to control these qualities as well as to add some more. Building a rapport is a key aim of my lessons. Also, a professional teacher does not complicate the things unnecessarily. After CELTA course I use the Cambridge way of teaching. I find it very productive and useful. My classes are interactive, student-centered and dynamic. As the lesson shape I prefer PPP ( Presentation, Practice, Production). Besides, there are a lot of shapes that I use as an alternative, such as Guided Discovery, Task-Based Presentation etc.. Sometimes, especially in Business English course I offer students to use PowerPoint Presentation.
