My first lesson with Yoko-san exceeded my expectations. I immediately felt comfortable to try my best and speak openly. Yoko-san was quick to assist with corrections, made sure that I understood the sentence structure and patiently guided my repeated attempts as if I were a good friend. Most of all, the lesson time was fun and that really motivates me to study. 本当にありがとう！

I speak almost 0 Japanese and by the end of the 30 minute trial lesson with Yoko I was able to say a few sentences and was recommended some work to do out of the lessons as well. Arigatou gozaimashita Yoko-Sensai

Yoko is always a fun and upbeat teacher. I always feel as welcome as a good friend. She is very patient and extremely helpful when guiding me through our conversations. ありがとうございました。

Had a really great intro lesson with Yoko-Sensei. She tailored the level very well to our abilities and was very patient and explained things well. It was all conducted in Japanese too even though Yoko-sensei's English is very good.

We talked about animals and pets during this lesson. I learned a bunch of phrases about pets, which is awesome. She is really good at asking follow-up questions so that the conversation doesn't get cold. However, I've been in my comfort zone using the grammar I know for too long. I think it's time to use a textbook to stock up more vocabs and grammar.
