Sobre Mim
Professor da italki desde 10 de Jun de 2020
Bonjour!
My name is Magalie and I teach French and English. My mom is American and my Dad is French so I was raised in a bicultural environment. I spent most of my childhood in France except two years when I moved to the United States from age seven to nine. I currently live in Vancouver (an English speaking part of Canada) which is where I went to university. I speak French with a Parisian accent and English with an American accent.
I love travelling and exploring new cultures! Following that passion, I spent last year working as an intern in Japan. This experience was very enriching for me! It made me want to discover more about Japan and I am now learning Japanese on Italki. :)

Having been a student most of my life I can relate to questions you might have and struggles many students go through when learning new subjects.
I also have experience living in four countries. Through these experiences I know the importance of how language and culture intertwine. On that note, I will take into account our potential cultural differences and use them to our advantage when we tackle difficult material.
I want you to succeed in a way that sticks! For that to happen, we can first discuss which learning style suits you best. I think, the more fun you have the more likely you are to remember the material. This is...
