I received TEFL certification from The Boston Language Institute. The program was an in-person 120-hour program that included supervised teaching of actual ESL classes. During the course, the instructors regularly told me that I should specialize in Business English. Since leaving Boston Language Institute, I have taught at language schools, privately tutored, and also worked as a high school English and World Studies teacher.

Almost five years now, and perhaps 6000 hours of online teaching. I make liberal use of online materials, and I like englishclub.com, ABC Radio National, TED Wolfram Coursera EDX, and recently linguapress.com. As a new graduate from the university, I have limited experience in teaching. However, I took part in the CELTA training and acquired the certificate after obtaining my degrees. I believe that I will become a good teacher, as my CELTA tutors assessed: I'm a patient teacher who would make my students confortable during the lesson, I'm able to respond to the feedback and improve my lessons and teaching skills, and most importantly, I am motivated as a teacher.
