Carol is one of the most positive, upbeat people I have ever met. This quality helps every lesson move forward to great topical matters and lots of laughs, along the way to learning advanced Spanish. I highly recommend Carol!

Como siempre, fenomenal

Carol is a teacher you can easily get addicted to! I have been taking Catalan lessons with her since February 2018 and, although I am often told that my Catalan is excellent and I'd rather work on improving other languages, I cannot give up on our weekly lesson (and would love to take more!), because it's an hour of learning in a fun and relaxed way. Carol is the teacher I would like to have for each of the languages I am learning, and also the teacher I would like to be myself. Moltíssimes gràcies per tot!

Carol and I has so many laughs today, whether we were speaking about Trump and the protesters, conspiracy theories, Covid-19, No matter how serious the topic, we managed many laughs. We also chatted about my business and retirement, buying a home in Costa Brava and the lifestyle there. We joked about all the cats and dogs at Carol's house, as well as the donkeys and geese kept at her father's house not far away. We talked about guilty pleasures - food, and drink. Carol mentioned that she likes "digestifs" now and again, as I do. Again, we had so many laughs, really, if I didn't need to use my earphones, I'd be rolling on the floor laughing. Carol was lovely and very helpful, giving me plenty of material to read and listen to. Hopefully next time I won’t be so nervous as I found my mind went blank forgetting even the most simple words and phrases. Carol was very understanding.
