Please WATCH my intro video to see how my classes are. . I am a LANGUAGE COACH: I keep track of your progress. Even before college, I liked to teach English to my classmates. Those who had problems with the language came to me and requested my help with certain topics. That is where my love for teaching was born. I teach using mnemonics, and I force you to learn with creativity. Not only you learn the mundane parts of a language but also the cool ones in a fun way. Using weird but cool examples you put into practice what you have learned. I teach also using the Aula Internacional books. PLEASE watch my intro video where I explain how my classes are. I expect from the student to be a committed one. Everybody has responsibilities, and attending your classes and doing your homework are ones of them. If the student DOES NOT show up after the 10 minutes mark, the class MUST be marked as complete. Failing to provide a prior warning to a late class, will end up with the class marked as complete as well. Homework will be delivered, though.

It's often said that the progress of the student depends on the student. In my case, this is definitely so. The bottom line is this, and I learned this today, Carlos has a tailor-made program for learning Spanish and it is rock solid. Carlos will improve your Spanish from day one. All you have to do is commit. Don't flounder around italki as I did in search of the perfect combination of teachers and teaching philosophies. Carlos is head and shoulders above the rest of the quality you will find here on italki and his method is a sure thing. Learn from my mistake, book him now and don't stop booking him. ¡Gracias por todo Carlos y nos vemos MUY pronto!

Carlos was very straight-forward and easy to talk to. He had a basic structure to follow for the first class and was very patient through the first class. I will be taking future classes with him.

I have been working with Carlos for a while, today we pretended we did not know each other well and he spoke no English so I directed the conversation entirely in Spanish and described words I did not know the Spanish for. It was a very useful exercise for speaking to others who may not know any English.
