Hi there! I’m Theresa, 33, from Munich in Germany. I'm married to an Englishman and live in a lovely village in rural Portugal, where I have a small farm. I love all things language and offer German conversation lessons and support for intermediate and advanced learners who want to build up their confidence, get to grips with the fascinating subtleties of the German language or want to reach fluency. I’m currently also training as a rock climbing instructor and Permaculture design teacher. Ever wish you could just ask someone if you got it right or if a particular phrase is commonly used in German? Then I could be who you’re looking for! I have been tutoring languages on and off, in person and online, since my days in Gymnasium. At university I studied German linguistics (and literature and philosophy), so we won't let grammar get in the way of things. In my experience intermediate and advanced learners make quick progress with a combination of guided conversation and problem solving with a competent language partner/teacher. Together we will create a comfortable learning environment that will make German fun! I You may want to improve your social conversational skills, practice German for certain situations on holiday, at school or at work, speak to German relatives, read German poetry... I offer you classes especially tailored to your needs.
