✹PROFESSIONAL NATIVE GERMAN TEACHER WITH PASSION✹ Tailored individual classes (A1-C2) according to my students needs and goals to aim for optimal effectiveness of my teaching methodology. Besides general language improvement from A1 to C2 I do also offer test preparation courses for TestDAF, Goethe Zertifikat, DSH & TELC. Not only do I understand the process of language acquisition, but also the psychology of learning languages. With this profound knowledge, I developed efficient teaching/learning strategies to minimize the necessary time it takes to acquire a foreign language. Remember therefore that the most important key factor of successfully learning is to ENJOY THE CLASS I started teaching German to international students in 2009 as a private tutor during my university studies. During that time I realized that this is my true passion, because I love to work with people and seeing progress in my students makes me feel proud and truly happy. After graduation I took several courses to become a professional teacher and soon got a job at a reputable high school in Taiwan. Besides teaches classes, I still tutor private students and currently I am on a temporary leave to travel the world, while still tutoring online and funding my dream through italki. I will individually tailor the lesson to your needs and goals, i.e. if you need to prepare for an exam, then I will provide you with test materials and try to identify your weaknesses, so that we can work together to compensate...

Stephan is THE BEST German teacher you will find on italki. I really enjoyed our conversation, he always tries to challenge me and make the lesson interesting. Time flew by so fast! I'd not hesitate to recommend Stefan to anyone learning German.

Stephan is patient, supportive and encouraging. His lessons are fun, and never feel like work, but have improved my German immensely. More importantly he has given me the confidence to speak German, however imperfectly, outside of our classes. 10/10, would recommend!

During the trial class, Stephan quickly understood my goal and dived into the core of the lesson. He identified my weaknesses, where and how I can strengthen them, and I can see myself getting well prepared for my upcoming exam. I look forward to the next lesson with Stephan.
