Hello everyone, I am excited about being part of italki. A little bit about me, for the last couple of years I have been working as a VR film editor, film editor, and photographer. Also, I started a new career as a stand-up comedian in Montreal, and it has been a blast; I have toured in Montreal, LA, New York and Mexico. In 2013, I decided that I wanted to see the world, so I have been traveling a lot; I have been to Paris, Strasbourg, Shanghai, Tokio, Lima, Machu Pichu, Venice, Lisbon, Mexico DF, and London. At the current moment, I am working on two books; one is a poetry book dedicated to my brother and another that has a journalistic style about Montreal devious characters. Prior to becoming a Film Editor, I worked as an English teacher in Guatemala City where I acquired an English Teacher Certificate at IGA (Instituto-Guatemalteco- Americano) While working as a teacher; I had the opportunity to work with different types of people; I taught children, teenagers, and adults. My goal now is to combine my range of experience with my ability to be a compassionate, enthusiastic, intelligent teacher who will make a positive contribution to every student. I tailor my lessons based on my student's needs. Everyone is different, and everyone has different goals so I try to focus on what is needed in order to achieve those goals.

Louis is an expert for job inter view preparation. His lesson really helped me to ace an interview in a very efficient way. What I learned from him is much more than English!

Louis is simply amazing! :) I really loved this lesson! He is supportive, encouraging, funny and easy to talk to. I feel like he understands my needs and that's why I'll definitely continue learning with him. The time went by quickly! Can't wait for the next session! Thank you, Louis!
