Hello, my name is Mary. I was born in England and I am a native English speaker. I would love to be your teacher and to help you improve your language skills. I have an accredited TEFL teaching certificate and I have a lot of experience teaching privately and in the classroom. I also have a Masters degree in Fine Art. I have traveled extensively and have lived in 3 different countries so I know what it is like to live in a new culture and how challenging it can be to learn a new language. I speak 2 languages, English and French. I can provide you with my expertise to make learning English as fun and smooth as possible. I like to focus on conversation, pronunciation, and intonation. I also teach grammar and practical, functional phrases that will help you to speak confidently in everyday life situations. I will make my sessions interesting and engaging. I will first assess your level and then offer you highly customized language sessions so that you can talk about the topics of your choice. So, if you are interested in, for example, history, politics, arts, science, cooking, music or cinema, we can discuss whatever it is that interests you. I am knowledgeable in a whole range of subjects and will cater to your personal interests. I teach most levels: At this time I am only accepting lower Intermediate (B1), intermediate and advanced. It was another excellent lesson with Mary. We talked about graffiti and street art. I have also learnt about some Brasilian artists of graffiti which was great to broaden my mind.
