My name is Helen, I am an international relations student. I am passionate about changing the world so I dedicate most of my time to social causes. I recently attained a verified certificate with the University of Harvard for a justice course I completed in January of this year. So far this is one of my most cherished accomplishments. I come from a family of educators so academic excellence is important to me. I'm an artist at heart who enjoys good food, music and comedy and making new friends. I am a qualified TEFL teacher with 3 years of online teaching experience. I have conducted thousands of online lessons with students of all ages, most of whom are from Japan and surrounding Asian countries. I've had the privilege of forging great friendships with some of my students and the greatest satisfaction I've received from being an online teacher is witnessing my students transform to become autonomous learners who are confident and steadfast in achieving their academic goals. I am an easy-going teacher who believes the best learning experience is propelled by a relaxed environment, discipline and mutual respect. My lessons are 30 minutes to an hour-long, they are divided into 3 sections. Reading and comprehension questions and discussion. Teaching style - Delegation, it's important for me to encourage my learner's capability and commend their efforts.
