•Graduated in bachelor of applied linguistics Dutch-French-Spanish, June 2016, Antwerp. •Erasmus exchange program in Spain during bachelor. •Graduated in master of multilingual professional communication, January 2019, Antwerp. •Erasmus exchange program in France during master. •French offline private teacher for 6 different students. •Love for correcting & improving written texts. •Traveling a lot. •Passion for nature, traveling, languages, reading, outdoor sports, adventure, music, social psychology and self-improvement. In my opinion, you can learn anything, as long as you're motivated enough. The same goes for languages. The fact that you're on this platform means you're on the good way. After having obtained my bachelor's degree in applied linguistics (Dutch-French-Spanish), I've started teaching languages, especially French, privately in 2016. I was lucky to have the opportunity to improve the language skills of 6 different students in different time periods. I'm eager to use my teaching skills, developped by giving the offline classes, in your online classes. Concerning the conversation classes, we will chat about various topics that attract your interest. In the meantime, I note and correct pronunciation and grammar mistakes, often – whenever possible – explaining why something is what it is, and not just giving the correct form. When you know the underlying reasons, it's easier to remember. If some mistakes return frequently, I give you online exercises on the topic...

My first lesson with Chris was great. He was able to quickly determine my level of French and properly adjust. He is very knowledgeable in terms of grammar, and he'll also listen, take notes, and will give you points of improvement when it comes to proper grammar usage or pronunciation. My first lesson with him was very substantive, and I look forward to future lessons!

We had minor tech issues but resolved those very quickly. Chris explains concepts well and was able to understand and on the ball with correcting my jumbled French which was helpful so that I can learn how to correct myself when self-learning. 30 minutes is maybe a bit too short for me to grasp his teaching style and to tell if it would fit my learning target but for now, I'd like to continue and see how it goes.
