This is the place to practise speaking Japanese. I correct errors while we are talking about anything we are interested in within the relaxed atmosphere. Due to the nature of the course, this is ONLY for INTERMEDIATE+ learners, who are comfortable to converse in Japanese.

Informal Tutoring

This class is designed for intermediate to advanced level students, who are seeking opportunities to utalise their previously gained skills and/or bored of studying with textbooks.  Authentic materials are used in the lessons in order to learn natural language.  Students can bring their own material or I can provide students some if they tell me your current level and what they are interested in reading.  Normally, I will send students several materials before the lesson, please pick one or two you would like to read with me.  

Lessons can be held in English or Japanese depending on the request of the students.  We read/watch Japanese news articles or books, discuss about the topic and/or complete worksheets.  Students can bring articles and books which they are interested in, to the lessons, too.

Students may hand in one piece of writing after the session to be corrected.

Reading News Articles and Books and/or Writing in Japanese 55 min

This course is a formal tutoring which I tailor the lessons to my students' requests based on their particular needs.  Most students are preparing N5&4 or studying with textbooks, other than Genki and minna no nihongo here.  Please let me know what you are expecting from our lessons before booking a lesson.  So, I can tell what I can and cannot offer during our lessons.  Also, I can tell if I can conduct the lesson with your requested textbook or not.  I will try to design the lessons specifically cater for your needs.

One-on-One Tutoring& Prepare JLPT(N5&4) 55min

60 min = 50-55 min session

This is a general Japanese class for all nationalities.  Lessons are held accordingly in either Japanese or English by a native Japanese speaker.  The set textbook will be either Genki or Minna no Nihongo.  Provided supplemental resources are mostly written and explained in English.  

This is an on-going course for students who consider learning Japanese long term rather than just for learning survival language.

Absolute beginners are most welcome, but if you started the books, please let me know where you are up to.

General Japanese with Genki OR Minna no Nihongo text book 55min

This course is a small group lesson (2-3 students).  If you would like to learn Japanese with your partner or siblings, this is the place.

My native tongue is Japanese, but I am qualified and practised teaching Japanese in Australia and I am more comfortable to explain Japanese in English. I use no/less English for advanced students.
