My first job was as a primary school teacher in London. Then I taught in Japanese cram schools, before doing a masters degree. Once I had the degree I moved to working in universities in Japan. After leaving Japan, I moved to France where I teach online and grade academic English writing tests. I spend 10 weeks every summer working at the University of Glasgow on their pre-sessional programme. I lead a team of teachers whose job it is to help students achieve a 6.5 or 7 IELTS level so they can study for a masters degree at the university.

As a learner of a language and as a teacher of English, I understand some of the struggles and successes of learning a new language. I offer different types of language lessons. For English learners I offer conversational practice. As a former journalist, I know hundreds of interesting stories. And I do believe, that best way to gain your confidency in speaking is just interesting conversation with the teacher's feedback. Concerning Russian - it's my mothertongue, and I'll be proud to help you learn Russian. I teach students of all levels, from total beginners up to advanced students, so whatever level you are - you're very welcome!

Vietnamese is my native language and I am also good at English. I had 4 years studying in University of social sciences and humanities of Ho Chi Minh city where I saw many foreigners studied Vietnamese. There are 2 purposes to study Vietnamese 1. You just want to know basic Vietnamese in daily life to live here for a short time or to travel. 2. You really want to master Vietnamese as a second language to do business here and live here for a long time. Whatever reasons I can help you both. In my college B.A studies, I studied a wide range of topics related to the English language, including but not limited to : listening and written comprehension, conversation, English & American literature, creative writing & poetry, academic writing, letter writing, journalistic English, business & office English, linguistics, phonology & pronunciation, grammar & syntax etc. I also completed a 120-hour TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) course, and I have 4 months of experience (it's not much, I'll give you that, but better than nothing) teaching English to kids and teenagers at a private language school.
