Hello my name is Joanne and I teach French on italki. I live in the southwest of France but I was born and raised in Paris. I am also an island girl from Madagascar (which is a French speaking country). As a multicultural person myself, I have always loved to discover new cultures and languages. Even though I just can speak English and Spanish, I make sure I now the basic words of the countries I am visiting: hello, goodbye, please, thank you, yes, no and no spicy (if required). I am currently learning Chinese Mandarin and improving my Malagasy. I am a professional photographer who has previously majored in supply chain management but decided to follow her artistic side. I adapt to the student's level. I will make sure you remain entertained during our conversation because I believe that you learn better faster stronger when you enjoy what you are trying to learn. I am an enthusiastic person and I will help you feel comfortable and gain confidence when speaking French. During our first meeting, I will get to know you: your current level, your goals and your tastes. And you will also get to know me. I am happy to talk about my cultures. We will work on your speaking, pronunciation, grammar and even on writing. I will provide you with useful vocabulary that will help you sound like a native speaker.
