The reason I have decided to start tutoring on italki is because I love to help people, communicate with them in the language I love and learn about their different cultures. As a teacher, in the last 25 years of experience, I've come across many different students. During my schooldays I discovered that I excelled in language classes and I chose English and French as major subjects. While I learned those languages in a classical classroom setting, there were no language courses or books available to learn the languages of Malaysia.
